Coverage that is relevant and true to your needs

When considering insurance options, it is important to obtain coverage that remains relevant and true to your needs.  Important coverage considerations include:

Coverage in the Courtroom

The inclusion of defence costs for a lawsuit, even if it is groundless, false or fraudulent together with the provision of legal counsel.

Coverage at Home

Cover if you are liable for someone getting injured on your property. For example, if someone falls on your sidewalk or slips near your pool.

Maintain Your Reputation

Coverage from lawsuits involving accusations of libel, slander, or negligent injuries, including cases originating from social networks, websites or blogs.

Identity Fraud Coverage

Someone stealing from your bank or credit card account, taking out loans or refinancing mortgages under your name are examples of one of the fastest growing white-collar crimes in Australia. Insurance can cover you from financial losses that can result if someone assumes your identity for illicit purposes.

Damage to the property of others regardless of legal liability

Cover the replacement cost of other people’s property, up to a specified limit, if the property is damaged or destroyed by an insured person, irrespective of legal liability.

Tax audit expenses

Covering the reasonable cost of accountant fees which you incur as a result of your personal taxation affairs being audited by the Australian Taxation Office.

Kidnap expenses

Covering reasonable costs incurred following a kidnap and ransom occurrence, including professional negotiators, security consultants, public relations consultant, medical and psychiatric expenses and lost earnings etc.

Several insurers also provide a Reward Benefit for information not otherwise available leading to the arrest and conviction of any person(s) who kidnaps you, a family member or a covered relative
